Tilda and Her Sweetie - A Valentine Card

Hello Sweet Readers,

How are you this wonderful Wednesday? I have a card to share with you that I had forgotten to post. It is featuring the hugging Tilda and Edwin stamp I made this card for a neighbor. She had told me that the sentiment on the front is something she tells her husband all the time. So, I thought I'd put it front and center!

The images were colored with distress inks. I know, I should pull out the Copics, but they are sooooooooo intimidating! LOL I feel so comfortable using the inks! Here is the first shot:

I used my Nesties, a MS border punch, some Kindyglitz, flowers from my stash, mirrored cardstock, grosgrain ribbon, a Memory Box die, machine stitching, and distressed edges.

This is the interior of the card:

The inside is pretty self explanatory. There is a hidden tag behind the sentiment mat. I've had the corner dies since they first came out and never used them before, LOL. I thought this might be a good time. I had found the heart button in my stash and put it to good use in the center of the doily.

My neighbor did love it! I was so glad. I hope you like it too!

Thank you s much for visiting. I love that you take the time to stop by. You make my hard work worthwhile! I so love each of you!

XO,
Chris

Chris,
Your Card is beautiful! I've not colored with my distress inks, I don't know how. I guess I need to take a class. All I color with is my Copics lol.
Hugs,
Carolyn

The gorgeous white bow is awsome over the very pretty doily. Love your sentiments too. Beautiful work. You said your neighbour loved it? I do to. Hugs.
