Are you gearing up for the big game? Gosh, it seems like Super Bowl Sunday has evolved into a national holiday! I cannot wait to see the commercials! So far, my favorite one is for VW and features the barking dogs "singing" the Imperial March song from the movie, Star Wars. I think it is hilarious! I even have a favorite pooch! It's the black one on the right end of the second row from the bottom. He/she is so animated! Which team will you be cheering for - the Giants or the Patriots? I'm just for a good game! Both teams are where they are because they are that good! Are you preparing any goodies? I'm making cheese fondue for us to munch on during the game along with some crab rangoons. Yum!
Our new challenge at Hooked on Craft is a perfect one for this time of hear. It's all about HEARTS! What a perfect way to make a Valentine's Day card and participate in a challenge, too! Just make sure that your card uses hearts, cupids, or anything Valentine's Day related! This challenge runs from February 6 until March 3. So, you have TONS of time to get your project done! I have colored Tilda using Distress Inks. I've also used shiny silver cardstock around the cut shapes. On the photo, it looks black. I did lots of distressing and machine stitching. Behind the upper mats is a hidden tag for journaling something special.
