A Tilda Rose Scent Celebrations Card to Share

Hello Dearest Readers,

Happy April to you! Time is just flying by! All is well here. My beautiful back wall is white with blooming Bridlewreath bushes. The fruitless plum trees have turned our valley all pink and white. There are tons of those trees here because they are so beautiful. Of course, my allergies are running amuck! I can go through a box of tissues in a day! LOL

I have also had two hummingbird sightings - which makes me just so happy to see them again. I've already prepared a feeder for those that are migrating. One swooped to the empty pole on Friday night. There was no feeder yet. This little guy must have been here last year and remembered where the feeder should be. He flew up to the pole, stopped in mid air, hovered for a little bit (obviously thinking to himself, "Where's my food, lady?"), and exited stage right! So, we immediately put a feeder out.

Today begins a brand spanking new challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog! Our theme for you to follow is...

Celebrations!

We would love to see your card covering a celebration such as graduation, birthday, new baby, wedding, or even a divorce! LOL!

Here is my inspiration card:

Here is some information on my card. I chose to use Tilda Rose Scent from the Lost and Found Collection as well as the Dressing Table stamp from the same collection. The colors on the painted section are just a tad deeper than what you see in the photo above. I've colored the images with water colors.

I've used gorgeous papers from Pion Design. It is such a shame to cover them up. The inside of the card is completely finished on both panels with more Pion papers, die cuts, lace, pearls, and flowers.

On the front, I've elevated the "Celebrate" tag using pop dots. I've added a hidden tag that has a sweet little pink perfume bottle hanging from the bow. It's funny, the Lost and Found Collection debuted in 2013. Well, I bought the little pink perfume bottles back then and have just now used one of them, LOL! Always be prepared, right? LOL

Lastly, I've used imported flowers, Magnolia Doohickey swirls, lace doilies, lace edging, some shabby pink Frantage, and other die cuts. You'll get a kick out of this. The mirror has clear plastic over it so it looks like glass. What did I use for the source of the plastic? A container that had grape tomatoes in it, LOL! I recycled! LOL

Are you getting ready for the new Spring Fever Collection? Diana is currently taking orders, so get yours in quickly before they are all sold out. They are adorable images! This is one of my favorites -

Isn't she just too stinkin' cute? I can't wait to showcase her on a card!

Well, that's about it! I hope you like my Celebrate card. I thought that it would work for many celebratory situations. It is available in my Etsy shop, if you are interested. Just click the Etsy link at the top right.

Now it's your turn! Won't you join the Celebrations Challenge? We'd love to see your creations!

Thank you for stopping by.

She is adorable! But your card is just scrumptious with all the different elements, it takes a few looksies to see everything. Like the perfume bottle and the love heart! Simply sumblime! tfs Germaine PS I just started playing with Magnolia sweeties and die cuts and would be most happy if I could come any where near the amazing creation you have made. Prayerful hugs.

Thank you so much for your sweet comments, Germaine. I wish I knew how to put "reply" in my blog so it goes right back to you. I don't know where to make that happen in the Settings area. Anyway, like shoes and purses, a girl can never have too many dies! LOL

Chris
